BLAIR LED chipset
The STORM 400x uses Aputure’s BLAIR LED chipset. It mixes five LED colors—Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, and Red. This creates more accurate and balanced white light. It helps reduce color shifts during shooting.
Adjustable white balance and tint
You can change the color temperature from 2,500K to 10,000K. This lets you match warm or cool lighting. It also offers full green-to-magenta tint control.
Powerful light output
With the 35º reflector, the light reaches 27,100 lux at 1 meter. That’s strong enough for daylight scenes. It works well in small sets or larger setups when paired with modifiers.
Accurate color for cameras
This light scores CRI and TLCI ≥95. It also scores high on CQS, TM-30, and SSI. This means it shows true colors on camera. It helps you keep consistent tones from shoot to post.
Easy control options
You can control it with the onboard menu, DMX, CRMX, or Sidus Link apps. It works for simple setups or full lighting grids. You can connect it wirelessly or with cables.
Smooth dimming and presets
You can dim the light from 0.1% to 100%. It doesn’t flicker or jump. Choose from four dimming curves for different fades. Save up to 10 presets for quick use. It includes studio, high-speed, and follow modes.
Built-in lighting effects
The STORM 400x comes with nine effects. These include Lightning, TV, Flame, Paparazzi, and more. They let you create dynamic looks fast — no extra gear needed.
Built for harsh conditions
The light is IP65-rated. It resists dust and water. You can use it outdoors or on tough sets without worry.
Secure mount for modifiers
The ProLock Bowens mount keeps accessories firmly in place. It supports heavy modifiers. It keeps them aligned for consistent output.
