The NiSi 100mm Professional Kit Third Generation III with V6 and Landscape CPL is the ultimate kit for landscape and seascape photographers with everything you need to get started. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to create long exposure images and use ND filters, GND filters and Natural Night with multiple lenses up to 82mm with a standard filter thread. The kit includes the most popular adaptor rings (67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm) with others sold separately. The NiSi 100mm Professional Kit Third Generation III with V6 and Landscape CPL represents a great saving compared to buying all the included items separately.
V6 100mm Holder
The NiSi V6 100mm Filter Holder with Enhanced Landscape CPL & Lens Cap is a new evolution that continues the success of our very popular V5 Pro Holder. The NiSi V6 is the most advanced 100mm filter holder we have ever created, refined design based on feedback from photographers.
It is made from aviation-grade aluminium with single element processing by CNC machine. This V6 kit comes complete with an ultra-slim 86mm Enhanced Landscape CPL and 4 adapter rings for most popular wide angle lenses (67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm). The matte black frosted finish on the surface to minimize reflection. With the unique rotation wheel design, the CPL filter can be rotated independently via a cog on the back of the filter holder. Also included is a V6 Lens cap.
It features superb build quality, Aluminium design and supports 3 x 100mm filters with a circular polarizing filter in any combination. The V6 has no vignetting at 16mm on a full frame and features a new streamlined design.
ND Filters
Neutral density (ND) filter that uniformly reduces the amount of light entering the lens. ND Filters can enable greater motion blurring and image detail by allowing a large aperture and a slow shutter speed. ND filters are also helpful when the contrast between the highlights and shadows is too high to get a quality exposure.
The ND8 3 Stop is commonly used for waterfalls and capturing water flow at shutter speeds from 0.5 seconds to 2 seconds.
The ND64 6 stops ND filter is generally used during the golden hour to create exposures of 1-2 minutes for smooth water or clouds. A 6 Stop is also great for capturing dynamic water while retaining some texture before the golden hour.
The ND1000 10 Stop is used during the day outside of golden hour as the bright ambient light requires much more ‘light blocking’. These can prolong exposures for up to 5 minutes during golden hour with the appropriate settings.
An ND32000 15 stop filter can be used to achieve very long exposures in the middle of the day and with this filter, exposures upward of 5 minutes can be achieved even during bright sunshine.
GND Filters
Medium Graduated Neutral Density Filter (3 Stop) is a rectangular filter that helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a medium-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a medium-edged line of transition is particularly useful for images that feature buildings, small mountains and other elements that protrude into high into the skyline. The transition zone of a medium is 40% smaller than a Soft GND and is wonderful for shooting at sunrise and sunset.
The Reverse Graduated Neutral Density Filter (3 Stop) is commonly used for Sunset and sunrise. The NiSi reverse GND filter is designed with dark area on the centre of the filter and gradually clearer to the top while the bottom part is clear preventing overexposure of skyline.
The Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter (3 Stop) is a rectangular filter that helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a soft-edged line of transition is particularly useful for images that feature trees, buildings, mountains and other elements that protrude into high into the skyline.
NiSi ND filters do not affect the colouration of the image, offer a true to life colour and are made from high-quality optical glass (not resin) with nano coating to prevent losing any single bit of detail. By using neutral density filter the camera is vulnerable to infrared light which will cast the unwanted red colour to the photos when shooting at a small aperture. NiSi ND filters have an infrared protection coating layer to eliminate the infrared light through the lens to bring back the natural true to life colour.
Natural Night
The NiSi Natural Night Filter is our first filter exclusive for night photography. Between mercury vapour, sodium, Low CRI streetlights, there are many undesirable wavelengths of light that pollute the night sky. The glow from these can keep your camera from seeing the sky properly and affect your night images. Because of this, NiSi has created the Natural Night Filter to block the most common wavelengths of light pollution.
Pouch Plus
The NiSi 100mm Filter Pouch PLUS for 9 Filters is designed for the NiSi 100mm system filters and will hold 4 x 100x100mm and 5 x 100x150mm. It features an adjustable cross-body sling strap and can be carried as a shoulder bag, messenger bag or a waist bag. It can be conveniently mounted on a tripod leg for easy access and use and is designed from a lightweight material that protects your filters from scratches. The pouch can hold up to 9 filters in the combination 4 x 100x100mm and 5 x 100x150mm and features a flip-top design to keep the pouch open when in use.
The case is very light coming in at 350g and while still small enough to fit into most camera bags. The physical dimensions are: 19cm x 13.5cm x 8cm.
