This Platform Pack is comprised of RED's Dovetail Quick Release Platform, two 19mm Studio Rod Clamps, and a dovetail. Any RED camera with a DSMC mounting plate affixed to the bottom can be securely slotted into the quick-release platform. The 19mm studio rod clamps are placed at the correct optical axis distance, ensuring compatibility with professional accessories such as matte boxes, lens supports, and lens drive motors. DSMC Universal Mount (19mm)
Add 19mm studio-spaced rods to your Quick Release Platform with the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC Universal Mount. Two captive 1/4"-20 screws secure the mount to the Quick Release Platform. Two spring-loaded levers let you secure 19mm rods for mounting accessories such as lens supports, matte boxes, and follow focuses that conform to the 19mm studio rod standard. Four 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the top allow for accessories to be added to the Universal Mount. This mount is compatible with the DSMC and DSMC2 systems as well as the RED ONE.

DOVETAIL MOUNTING PLATE (LONG)
The RED DIGITAL CINEMA DOVETAIL MOUNTING PLATE is an ARRI standard dovetail that can be secured to a tripod or other grip gear to create a sliding balance platform for larger lenses and heavier rigs. DSMC cameras can use the QUICK RELEASE PLATFORM (DOVETAIL) to slide right onto the dovetail. The dovetail itself is routed out to keep the weight down while 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes run the length for versatile mounting options.
