ZEISS Supreme Zoom Radiance lenses are a unique line of film zoom lenses and the only zoom lenses that match the image rendition of the Supreme Prime Radiance series. The three newly designed T/2.9 top film zooms - 15-30mm, 28-80mm and 70-200mm - feature the same blue "T*" optics finish as the popular Supreme Prime Radiance models. This allows cinematographers to create their signature look with beautiful, consistent and controlled flare, warmer color reproduction and a pleasing cinematic image character including beautiful bokeh. Radiance zooms offer a unique image rendition in film zooms, and can be combined perfectly with Zeiss Radiance Prime fixed lenses and vintage lenses. State-of-the-art ergonomics and full lens data support are standard.
Beautiful and controlled reflections
The blue "T*" coating allows for predictable and expressively rich flare when focusing light into the lens barrel. In standard use without backlighting, the flare remains controlled, while when zoomed in, the shape of the flare uniquely changes, providing additional opportunities for creative expression for cinematographers.
Warmer colours
The blue coating not only produces iconic blue highlights, but also provides warmer color reproduction compared to standard coatings. This warmer tone adds vitality and contrast to the overall image, creating a more vibrant impression.

No loss of contrast
Supreme Zoom Radiance lenses have an anti-reflective coating on every optical element. This blue "T*" coating ensures that there is no loss of contrast under normal or more aggressive lighting conditions needed to create specific flare.
Highest level ergonomics
With professional workflow in mind, Supreme Zoom Radiance lenses have consistent and standardized positions for aperture, focus and zoom controls, along with a 114mm front diameter. This uniformity eases the transition between Supreme Prime and Zoom lenses, simplifying on-set work and increasing overall production efficiency.
Full lens data support
Supreme Zoom Radiance lenses feature ZEISS eXtended Data technology, which provides vignetting and lens distortion data for every frame, in addition to standard Cooke/i protocol metadata. This simplifies and speeds up post-production, especially for VFX and virtual production. The lenses are also part of the ZEISS CinCraft ecosystem and are available through the free Virtual Lens Package (VLP), which simplifies lens calibration.
